Step1: Fix Plumbing
First, you need to fix the plumbing system before you start constructing the duct system. So, for that, you need a cistern, a rigid 90-degree flush pipe and a 4inch pan connector.
Your cistern should be mounted on the wall and use the rigid flush pipe and pan connector to connect your pan with the cistern. To fit perfectly, work on its dimension correctly especially when you are using half-height duct sets.
You should care that the top of your cistern should not be higher than 1180mm from the floor and it is in a perfect position. In most of the case, half-height duct sets come in at 1200mm high.
Step2: Fit the Duct Set
First, construct the duct set and set it duct carefully also secure all point. Be careful while fixing the IPS with the duct frame. Then set your panels and be extra careful while setting the penal.
Step3: Cut the Opening
After setting up duct and IPS panels, put the pan against the wall, then mark the edges with a pencil. Then move the pan to a side also open the duct frame.
Then, measure 20 mm inside the line that you marked and make another mark. Cut the internal mark and create the opening for the flush pipe. You should also mark and cut the side where you have fixed the flush controller.
Step4: Fit the Pan on The Floor
After setting up the duct set successfully, it’s time to fix the pan on the floor. Before do it connect your duct again to be sure that the flush pipe and other parts are within the reach and again put the pan against the wall and mark the floor.
Remove the pan and drill for the plugs and put the pan on the mark. Fix the pan and other connection.
